FAKE cex.io website

I urge members of Cex.io to change their password and add extra security e.g authenticator.
Reason being, I stumbled across a website that looked like cex.io, which was cex-io.com.
Funny enough you could log on via this fake site. Unfortunately I was one of those unlucky souls. I didn't know, I just typed in cex in google and it came up on top.

I consulted with Cex.io support and they replied:

I already notified the domain registrar of the copyright violation and the website was closed.

I also asked them to make a global announcement about this, but they haven't done it yet, nor willing to.
This could be an inside job or I could be wrong, either way it pissed me off.

Why would you even log on to a site called cex-io.com. Never heard of phishing sites?

Course its not an inside job. Just someone aiming to take advantage of idiots.

cex-io.com does a 302 redirect to cex.io.

The reason you could login is because it was proxying to the real site, in the process storing a copy of your login credentials.
