Ok, so let me first explain, I have had a Gigabyte r9 270x running 420-470khashes for the last two weeks, I recently bought a sapphire r9 270x 2GB yet with the settings I have for my Gigabyte it is only getting about 50 khashes. I'm so confused could someone please help me?

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://flo.smalltimeminer.com:3344 -u USERNAME.WORKER-p PASSWORD  --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 -I 18

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://flo.smalltimeminer.com:3344 -u USERNAME.WORKER-p PASSWORD  --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 -I 18

You need to specify settings for each card sperated by a comma

Ie.
-I 18,18
Therefore

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://flo.smalltimeminer.com:3344 -u USERNAME.WORKER-p PASSWORD  --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 -I 18,18

lookup gap and -w apply to all cards though

lookup gap and -w apply to all cards though

This is only if you want to run each card at different settings, which is what he may need to do. Your power should be OK with 600W as the 270x is max rated for 180W.

You may have to use the above code to tweak each card with the first number being GPU 0 and the second being GPU 1. Sapphire may need to run at a lower intensity to perform. Try -I 18, 12 and see what you get.

I would highly highly suggest SGMiner 4.0.0 with the following parameters:
Code:
--no-submit-stale --thread-concurrency 10241 --gpu-fan 90 --intensity 19 -w 256 -g 1  --gpu-powertune 20 --lookup-gap 2

@ 1120/1500 clocks i am getting 480khs across the board on 5 MSI 270s.  Using 13.12s + 2.9 SDK in Win8.1

SGMiner link is in my sig.  It fixes crap like what the OP is experiencing.  270 and 270x should be able to use the same config.

Note: If you are still getting that issue where one of the cards won't break out of the 100s, then you need to reset your driver platform.  Uninstall everything using the CPanel Catalyst program.  Throw on the 13.12s + 2.9 SDK.

ok so I downloaded SGMiner and it actually boosted the performance of my original card up to 480mhashes, yet  the new card still won't budge over 65khashes? any ideas
