If you want to trade, if you pretend to know about stocks, you should know that searching for information is the key for everything.
People keep asking similar questions quite often. One of the threads I remember is this one, and I think that it contains your answers too.

Stock market is more regulated and controlled than crypto trading. With Crypto , any tom and dick can make a project with IT expert and make millions and refuse to work on their product yet no one will hold them accountable. But with stocks, the government watches every moves of the company enlisted and regulate it behaviour. Yes both are similar, both deals with companies seeking funds for project expansion or startups.

Securities are traded on stock market, while cryptocurrencies are traded on crypto market.

Hi!

Investing in cryptocurrency trading has a little in common with stock trading. You buy stock and hold on to it until it appreciates. In both cases there are digital assets without physical currency. However, they are also very different from each other.

I think, this article can help you. Here're the main statements:

- Cryptocurrency market is much more about speculation today
- Cryptocurrency market never sleeps
- Cryptocurrency market has a lower barrier to entry
- Cryptocurrency trading requires no intermediary
- Crypto exchanges are less reliable and stable
- Cryptocurrency market is less predictable.

We could also add another significant differences – a big gap in profit-making margins. Making profit in stock markets is usually a slower process. The market of cryptocurrency can give you quick and high profits, but the risks here are also high.

one of the major differences is that cryptos can be traded anytime but stocks are traded at some specified time scale.
