This amount is not too small for you to invest in either bitcoin or ethereum, you can buy any and then other altcoin with this amount. I suggest you buy some bitcoin or ethereum and if you want to buy altcoin, you can buy neo, eos, litecoin. These are very good and potential coin for long term investment.

I think its better if you are the one who will search for better altcoins to be hold, because it is your own investment, but I will still mention some good altcoins like tron, eos, and ethereum.

I think you should invest in Ethereum and BTC in spite of everything. Apart from these, I can recommend NEO. You can choose Monero and EOS. The number of options is very small

I don't understand why you think that you can't invest in bitcoin or Ethereum. Yes, they can't give so much profit as another token can, but it's more stable and non-risk coins.
