I do not agree with this. I think the bitcoin price will not increase in 5 years. You will lose a lot of money when you keep the bitcoin too long. You should keep bitcoin for a year.

Buy and hold longer will give you good profits as the price of bitcoin is predicted that this will rise higher in the future. The only problem here is to test your patience while the market price is keep on falling. Your money will be trap with the bearish situation as you can't withdraw unless you will sell it in losing price. Waiting for five years is a quite longer as the price is too volatile. Don't be too greedy the market changes everyday.

That is a good strategy because you don't need to check the market whether it is dumping or pumping. Many long term investors did you that and Bitcoin never failed them. It is far more better than investing in stock market because it has more potential to get a bigger profit.

Keeping my bitcoins for five years, Maybe i'm going to become a rich person on that.
But it was too long to keep our bitcoin maybe we can sell it early if the price of the bitcoin be going crazy and be reach to price of $20000 that was high value ill can see through my eyes.

I agree with you that keeping bitcoin will be profitable. But do we have the patience to hold it for five years? To me it is very difficult to keep a coin for too long. When the market continuously decreases, our will, patience decreases.

Awesome article and advice.  IF you pick the correct coins and hold long term you will make immense gains.  The beauty of this horrible market is if your looking ot build long term positions and you are able to pick quality, long term you will only win with this strategy. 

Your analysis is correct, if you take a long position in bitcoin you will definitely profit eventually, the problem is that you will have to wait for a very long time for that to happen and many people simply do not have the patience to hold her coins for that long especially when their expectations about this market were of making a fortune in just a few weeks or months.
