Recently watched the transfer of "Galileo" about the dry water and directly caught fire to implement a project for unconventional cooling video cards. Who does not know, dry water is unusual, from similar properties - it does not burn, from the opposite properties - it does not conduct electricity, it does not oxidize and corrosion the metal elements of the device, and all because the structure of the connection is more stable, two molecules hydrogen from the formula of simple water H2O replaced by carbon dioxide and fluorine-containing elements, here, in principle, the elementary formula - CF3CF2C (O) CF (CF3) 2. Now everything is clear and everything fell into place.
Initially, the assembly of farms was planned for passive income, it looted and mined to itself quietly, but in practice, at times, like a shaman with a tambourine, you roll around it, finding out the cause of this or that problem, and the farms have a few problems with them. Even the most interesting, the cause or source of the problem is often not, and after a while we see a stable work again.
In general, dipping video cards for cooling in dry water would solve many problems, the main thing is the compactness of the installation, you do not need to force the entire balcony with fans, curtain it from the sun, plus noise and clogging with dust. Of dust is, of course, a separate topic, because much depends on the air, I live in an industrial city, "the best city on earth, what floated in Miass - walks the earth", here and so, having said poems, you can already guess , about what city there is a speech.
Well, back to the topic. In general, I already began to imagine where I would take the aluminum plates, for cooking the pool, where I would find argon welding, then dry water. Before the dry water everything was solved, it was not actual and cost-effective to buy it on the Internet, it was necessary to buy too much lot, but remembering about his old client from the previous work, and he was engaged in security and fire fighting systems, the problem has disappeared by itself, and in the end, it was possible to get through the fire units and find a way out. I began to study this issue more deeply and another problem arose - the boiling point of dry water is about 40 degrees Celsius. Then it became clear that the dry water - is absent. In summer there will be days when the temperature rises and the pool turns into a boiling pan.
Then he climbed into his favorite youtube and found installations from Beeminer Group, which professionally deals with immersion cooling. It uses a different liquid with a boiling point of 200 degrees Celsius. But there are two minuses. First, you need running water, and its consumption of two cubes per hour is a lot, or installation of a special cyclic water supply system, which is unrealizable for me. The second minus is a price tag, for this money you can collect a pair of farms for eight 1080TI cards to assemble.
I also found a third option: on youtube there is a dude who collects plants and bluntly pours them with the famous sunflower oil "Sloboda", his experiment on mining lasts 42 days and everything works. The map in the oil spins, does not heat up, the crypt is minced. He even collected a whole computer and plunged it into his so-called "deep fryer" with the power supply and everything worked. To repeat this experiment there should be three eggs, I did not have enough eggs and my farms are still cooled, according to the classics.
But the summer is just around the corner, the only way out is to take advantage of hot days, make a full stop and conduct equipment maintenance.
And does anyone use dry water or installations from a beeminer, and can flood their cards with sunflower oil? Share your experience in the comments to the article.

I will certainly be grateful for the Merit
