I have spent time Googling and reading about this topic.  Everything I've seen indicates ASIC can only be used to mine Bitcoin.  That's due to the specific cryptography used, and the design of the ASIC chip.  Does that sound correct?

Well, now on eBay I see someone selling ASIC USB miners that claim to work with Litecoin, Dogecoin, as well as Bitcoin (and others).  Does this sound too good to be true?
