Can I mine altcoins say DOGE, Megacoin, Digitalcoin, Litecoin, Quark etc with Antminer U1 sticks? What will be approximate BTC per day (stats) if I were to use day 5 sticks? (I will get around 8 Ghs.)

I believe thats a bitcoin asic yeah?  In which case you would only be able to mine sha 256 based altcoins (theres a few of those around)

pretty much all of the coins you listed are scrypt based for which there are no asics (some in development) and your sha 256 asic wont mine

https://coinex.pw/mining/pools will give you a list of some sha 256 altcoins, Im sure there are others but may as well start with something thats on an exchange Smiley

You can only mine SHA 256 based coins with Antminer U1.
I prefer Tigercoin (TGC) as the value and difficulty rate is pretty low and I foresee the price rising in the next few months.
I use the mining pool at coinex.
If you hash rate is around 5 Gh/s, you'll get around 200 TGC per day. So go figure.

What settings are you using with your antminer U1 and CoinEX?

I am trying to configure mine using BFGminer and the only syntax I can find on the CoinEx site is
stratum+tcp://stratum.coinex.pw:9944

How does the pool know my user connection information?

From your posting

UPDATE:
I forgot to setup mining workers.  Once miner workers are setup use that information in the connection string to solve the problem mentioned above.

"click at your nickname and go to workers.
there you can create a worker.
use this workername and password for your miner command line. "
