Yesterday we posted a revised review of the EtherInc blockchain project which eventually got the attention of a business associate of one of the top ICObench "experts" who, according to his LinkedIn feed, was one of the project's advisors. He posted a comment to our review threatening us with legal action. We think it demonstrates the lengths to which people affiliated with ICObench will go to silence critics. You can read the comment and our response here:

https://www.tokenicide.com/review/ico-update-etherinc/

And last month, another ICObench expert doxed one of our contributors when he read our expose of ICObench (https://www.tokenicide.com/opinion/icobench-warmer/). Here is a screenshot of the expert's Twitter post doxing our contributor:

We are not affected by these sorts of attacks because we expect them, and since one of us is an attorney threats of legal action don't bother us either. But they can be very damaging to the reputations and careers of others who are not similarly situated, and we think it's very disturbing that these "experts" are willing to sink so low to scare people who criticize them. To us it just confirms the complete lack of any ethics or professionalism over at ICObench.

If you have witnessed any fraud or corruption by ICObench experts or anywhere else in the ICO support service industry, you can submit the information anonymously on a special form we set up here:

https://www.tokenicide.com/anonymous-tip-form/

Thank you for reading.

So glad that people like yourself are emerging in the community. Cryptos was a grassroots movement to free us from the greedy oligarchs; but just seems to have attracted them and the little fishes in the community mimicking there unscrupulous behavior. One area of note is Bounty, project these days are fraudulently inducing people to perform marketing for them, but hen refusing to pay or altering terms. Hope you can help the community concerning this!!

It won't really matter at this point. Because that news has been around for a while. So my guess is that, a lot of ico investors have heard about it and lost trust in the site. Myself, I wouldn't trust Icobench after knowing that their reviews are powered by incentives and money offers. Nah, I will stay clear from them. So whether or not they give everyone a lawsuit for letting the cat outta the bag, it wouldn't have much effect because trust, once lost is hard to gain back.

it's about money and business, if you get paid high to make a good rating, do you refuse? I think this is definitely happening in ico bench, there are a lot of ico on the review and have good rating, but my question is "if ico with the best rating in ico bench be a scam, will ico bench be responsible?"

Nothing can be taken at face value, specially defamation of any kind, which usually a he said/she said scenario, can sometimes be too one sided. Unfortunately, in most cases harm seems to be already done.

Thank you for the supportive words and we are very familiar with bounty programs. As a general rule we discourage projects from using them because they create too much potential liability from a legal and regulatory standpoint, e.g., securities and as you mention fraud. We'll have to do some more research on the specific problems you mention and if you have any more info you can always submit it anonymously to https://www.tokenicide.com/anonymous-tip-form/
