It's like having a VPS server or Webhosting server. You don't have to bring home the equipments, they run 24/7 and you can choose how much power you want. You can check my sig, and It's explained there also. Smiley

It all depends on how much you can afford to purchase to be honest. If you're spending 0.033 + Bitcoin per 1 GHS while risking the chance of losing that initial amount, in my opinion it isn't smart. To earn back that 0.033 Bitcoin you risk losing would take months to earn back mining with only 1 GHS.

Especially with the ever rapid rising difficulty.

It is very easy to do cloud mining, and the price is very high as well.
You can compare the hashrate price on cex.io with the built-in profit calculator on the site. https://cex.io/calc

Well, some say bitcoin is a currency, some say it is a commodity.
No matter which stance you take, it is definitely not free, and you need to pay for it.

You can buy it with fiat.
You can sell your goods or services for bitcoin.
Of course, you can also try to get some dust from faucets, but it doesn't worth the time IMHO.

Well mining altcoins really helps me with my cloud mining. Borrow and Reinvest. My strategy lately.

CEX + 700Kh/s Scrypt and then Reinvested at locked lower bidding, and then selling higher at CEX Gh/s. Well it works and growing. Scrypt mining really surprises me. Had my first bitcoin in less than 3 months.

It is profitable (well, at least it is the case now) to build GPU rigs and mine scrypt coins.

In fact the cloud mining need to upgrade their hashrate otherwise that's useless to waste your money.

Exactly.
You can check the cex.io hashrate price vs expected mining revenue, using the built-in profit calculator on the site.

There's quite a few alternatives to cex.io now, with various prices at various places.

I've tried a couple, but the "best" one so far is: http://pbmining.com

No trading, but it's 0.0125 per GH/s as we speak. I've been a member for a couple of weeks and so far, so good.

Seems like you didn't setup your referral link right. Wink

And, the info on the homepage is out of date lol.
In the homepage, it says "0.016BTC per GH!", and in the payment page it shows "1 GH/s @ 0.01250000 for 5 years".

Beats me - if they have the equipment needed, why don't they mine themselves?

One must have really great skills to make profit out of cloud mining, right?
