Let's start a thread about significant IT related fuckups.

Recently I connected a Modem/Router box into my schools network, to make Wifi in the student council room. One day the power went out in the school and the school server took 20mins to boot up (Windows updates FTW) but my modem was almost instantly up and running and giving away brand new IP s to all the devices in direct  connection resulting in about half the network going through my little box. Luckily I rapidly discovered that and turned it off. When I told the IT guy what happened, we had a laugh and went "Ooh shiiet".
