Yesterday Tezos released beta-net! It means that finally you can use your XTZ tokens! Almost one-year lockup has finished!  

How to receive your tokens?

If you participated in ICO, you should pass KYC at their website  https://verification.tezos.com  and get your Activation Code

After this, you will be able to activate tokens, use https://stephenandrews.github.io/activatez/ (it's safe because don't need the private key)

In few minutes you will see your tokens in Block Explorer http://tzscan.io/

Done! Now you can use your tokens with tezbox wallet https://tezbox.github.io/

The first Tezos exchange also appeared — it's little-known gatecoin exchange (by the way, which listed ETH first:  wiki)

This project reminds me of Exscudo who has followed almost the same path and i think both these projects still need more time to de bug their system and platform, so actual, working and professional platforms still need time to develop.

The tezos team has forced the investors to full fill the KYC requirement and it has not even promised by the developer. There is a lot of people can't complete it because it needs various requirements.
A lot of people are thinking about this project have zero credibility. lol

it's normal for crypto tokens sales to do kyc compulsory due increase of governments rules and regulations. You can't ignore kyc now if project needs to be successful.

This is fairly new in the market and there can be certain risks associated with it. If we do want to get ourselves engaged in it, the best advice would be to see the opinions of the experts, the reviews and ratings of it and what are the demand of it in the market.
