I plan on doing a series of these, themed in different audio-visual experiences.  Here is the first:
www.BitSonata.com

The rain represents the hashrate (though they are not linked).
Thunder and lightning  represent transactions, and scale based on the size of the transaction.
A howling wind represents a new block on the network.

I hope you enjoy.  More to come.

I guess it's interesting, though not entirely practical. Where are you getting the data from?

Yea - It's not meant to be practical  Smiley   I use it as background ambience while I code. 

I get the data from blockchain.info.
