why when changing bitcointalk.org email account there is no confirmation link to old email or new email.

I mean above like Twitter, when changing the email address there is a confirmation link to a new email that will replace the old one. as long as the confirmation link is not validated by clicking the link, the current email will still exist.

Sure, but this does not add to security and changing the email without a confirmation from the old email is not secure.
