Remember good things take time. Cryptocurrencies are a good thing. Sit back, apply risk management and relax. Sentiment is shifting.

Up until early 2016, there was only one choice for holding cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin.

there is still only bitcoin worthy of long term investment aka holding. otherwise from early days there has been other altcoins which people bag held, for example Litecoin was around since 2011 and many people have been bag holding it thinking they made a long term investment. obviously price of LTC is higher than 2011 but that doesn't make it a good long term investment when there is bitcoin which went from $2 in 2011 to $20k in 2018.

Yeah, but it's only because people didn't want to buy bitcoin when it was on sale.  If you went to your local BMW dealership and the 5-series was $30k off normal retail price, wouldn't you think that was a good deal if you really love BMWs?  Yet most people don't think this way when it comes to investments.  They see a dropping price and get scared instead of seeing something at a bargain price.  It's bizarre, counter intuitive behavior and I think it comes from too much emotion--namely, fear.

However, I don't see what the title of the thread has to do with what OP wrote.  Sounds like he's promoting a podcast instead of sparking a real discussion.
