So the Smartcoin giveaway, complete with online wallet, that I signed up for, exists no more. The wallet is gone, the domain is gone.

But it could be hiccup.

Has the Dev got an explanation? Did you steal our coins or is the domain and server just having issues.?

If the latter, then apologies. If the former, then shame on you, and watch your back.

I await your reply.

If nothing is explained, then I'll try to pass the word around, especially to the little exchanges you are on.

And of course, find your identity.

The dev is inept and clueless. Now she runs her own moderated thread where she deletes anything negative about her coin. So unless you post everything is roses and sunshine she deletes post.

lol, imagine actually stealing coins she gave away. I understand the premine, the pump, but stealing something you gave as a gift is so low.

When you signed up for the online wallet, there was a warning not to trust the wallet with large amounts of SMC.

SmartCoin was not affiliated with T-Hash in any way. In case you lived in a hole for the past 2 weeks, the person who owned the online wallet service it ran away with its contents.

T-Hash PMed me that they set up an online wallet - they claimed a 1000 SMC bounty and that was it. There was always a warning on the main post that stating not to trust online wallet.  If you are even remotely familiar with the history of any coin you'll know that online wallet services have always been extremely vulnerable. Whatever you did with your coins is your responsibility.

I haven't deleted anything that criticized SMC, in fact all of your crap posts are intact. The only posts I delete are the ones who advertise other coins or attempt to spread viruses, like the wallet link that someone "leaked".

Hey, I had 45 coins, and the offer came through Smartcoin, one of those giveaway things. Smartcoin set the wallet up. It was not my decision.

Pass your blame on, but it sounds pretty pathetic.

This dev is VERY unlikable, just the way she slams people when they ask questions , she says "in case you have been living in a hole for the last two weeks" what a douche wad! Shutup dev and take your crappy attitude elsewhere, that is one of the reasons I hate your coin, because of your shitty attitude and smartasscoin ways!!!

Oh man you've had a real positive attitude in all of your posts. Don't even get me started AtlantisPlatform. All of your posts are negative.

And let me guess, you're a real angel too:

The dev is inept and clueless. Now she runs her own moderated thread where she deletes anything negative about her coin. So unless you post everything is roses and sunshine she deletes post.

I can name thousands of other websites that use it too. They offer competitively priced and reliable servers. I can see why they'd like it too.

Hahaha well that guy who ran that online wallet scam was a real pro otherwise though; at least someone using the same name used to register t-hash.xxx uploaded some very - well, professional, totally non-scammy and non-shady looking vids to Youtube, starting with "[December 2013 -UPDATED] Bitcoin hash hack - Free": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHKZeIPR8ls

I think it would be wise to NOT download the software he links there Cheesy

(But if he opens another online wallet service I'm SURE it'll be, like, totally trustworthy!!!!!11)

So yeah. Tough shit. 45 coins at 0.00010298 BTC a pop comes to 0.0046341 BTC or roughly $2.84 right now. If you're really the kind of person who gets pissed enough about an amount like that to throw a tantrum and spread FUD everywhere he can I don't think I need to give you any more attention at all. Instead just give me your address and let me reimburse you for your stupidity and ignorance towards everything that has been going on in the last few weeks, so you can stfu and move on from your monumental 2 buck loss.

Boom! And very generous of you, regardless of the going price. I am completely new to mining, and even I had the thought, "An online wallet is in someone elses care. Why would I want that when I can have the offline option on my own computer?". Problem avoided with some simple analysis.
