https://cryptocointalk.com/ not working properly?

Hm, I'm trying to make a new account on https://cryptocointalk.com/ and after signing in I get a "Sorry, you don't have permission for that!" error.

I got an email from cryptocointalk that I need to validate my email address, however I didn't get the validation email (even in the spam folder). Hitting "Resend Validation" on the site doesn't appear to work as it gives me the same error "Sorry, you don't have permission for that!", so it doesn't appear that I have any way of signing up as a new user for this site. I don't even have permission to sign out (other than, of course, ending the session).

Anyone else having this issue? There doesn't appear to be any way to contact anyone on the site either.

The site works fine, I just posted there.
Jimmy is the guy who runs the sight and I usually sign in with twitter.

Sorry you had problems but it's not like joining here where you get banished to the newbie board at first.

I don't use facebook but you can log in with facebook also.

is in fine working order give it another shot.

No adds , no clutter, focus is on all coins not just BTC.

Plenty of legit giveaways too unlike several on here
(I will be nice & not name names of people or coins)
where you 'sometimes' do not get the coin or coins.

Hopefully this is a legit issue not just an attempt to discredit another great forum that does a lot for the world of alternative cryptocurrency.

I'm having the same problem right now did you ever find a solution?
I signed up with twitter and every page gives me error #1001 "Sorry, you don't have permission for that!"
Apparently I don't even have permission to sign out : \
