It's been a fruitful active beginning Month

  It's really not been the best November for cryptocurrency in terms of prices of coin.  We have witness price drop and has spored panic amongst investors

With that aside it's been a fruitful active beginning month personally for me although some might not see the magnitude of the progress I have made but from my lay down target I had surpassed my aim.

I registered some time in September but began active posting in November and since then I have become a bitter person not only in terms of cryptocurrency but my life in general has changed(my English has improved, am more confident).

 it use to  scare me previously going through some individuals profile that can date back to early this year but has no proof of productiveness(personal view about merit) some even starting thread about how unfair the merit allocation is and how hard is it to get it (a very wrong perception; there are individuals that merit good works and also 119 merit souces).

  So I decided to ignore speculations and give it a try and target a single merit within the month which at that time wwas seen as the almighty merit.

I started getting active making post, reply suggestions and criticism the post was not necessarily as long as the statue of liberty but I tried to pass a message in every one of them. Then it started yielding fruit the merit started coming in and I am 6 merit in (as at timing of the write up) to becoming legendary.

PS. You are only restricted by yourself to achieving your goals here on the forum no one is against you rather when you start becoming actively helpful you would started getting encouragement and rewards

Congrats om embracing the new, emerging world of crypto currencies anyway. Forget about merits and legendaries and all that stuff, the real future lies in this new world. Learn about blockchain projects, and the way that crypto will replace the current fiat monetary system. I believe that the real beginning for global economies will be next year. We got in early, lets take advantage of this.

Nice to see someone with a positive spirit around for a change. It is not difficult to stand out of the crown and receive some merits, being the first ones likely the most difficult ones to obtain in my opinion. Another matter is the amount the average decent poster manages to obtain, in relation to what some of the ranks require such as Hero (500) and Legendary (1.000), if ranks are a concern at all.

The system was made to work in favour of those who shared similar goals with it, and frustrate those whose aim is to exploit it.

As long as you keep trying to impact possitively, as you also improve yourself, it'd be a win-win situation.

As @jetcash has said above, we should all aim to learn and improve our knowledge, as we are all here to grow our understanding of cryptocurrency  
And if you want to earn from the forum, you'd have to dedicate time to grow your account, and not just get the minimum requirement and join ICOs with no certainty.

The OP was referring to his/her merit count and general growth in the forum after the first month.
The market is currently in a very bad state, I'm curious to know how you've been making profits?
Altcoins? I heard of a few which are doing good.
Am not very optimistic about a bullrun this year though

It's not been much of a fruitful month for cryptocurrency or me either because I invested when it was above 5000$ now the price has fallen makes me wonder if made a wrong timing but still am happy for you on your personal achievement

Getting 7 merits from September 11, 2018 is not ground-breaking but it is higher than most "newbie" users on this site. You should just forget about the merit and just concentrate on adding value to the forum and then the merit will flow in, on it's own.

People gets emotional and obsessed with the merit system and sometimes they try too hard and forget about the reason that the merit system was introduced. <To improve post quality>

Look for "new" topics on Bitcoin that people will find interesting or provide solutions or good answers to people's problems and you will see how generous people will be with their allocation of their merit points.

Many users have been quicker to "7" than you,others have been Slower,some more haven't earned any,so weighing it all up, you could actually be correct being happy with what you feel you've achieved..
It's all about getting to know the perfect area were your skills will be of help to others on the forum and in the bitcoin network in general...

Our aim here as always is to earn,but we sure have to learn first and put our talents(if we have any)into full effect..

Forget about merits and legendaries and all that stuff, the real future lies in this new world. Learn about blockchain projects, and the way that.........

I am a beginner, I don't think how important merit is, I only care about the topics I like, following merit is meaningless to me and very tired. I just came here to learn about crypto, I need a relaxed environment.
