Well, they just 'hacked' the frontpages. Hacking or gaining access to accounts or sensitive data is a far more difficult task. Decentralized systems have their drawbacks too.

Yeah, there's a difference between the security of a frontpage and those containing account data.

lol personally i don't like paypal it puts limitation to your acc/ without any reason, many peoples lost thousands of $$ with paypal may be one of the paypal victim just thought its revenge time.

lol personally i don't like paypal it puts limitation to your acc/ without any reason, many peoples lost thousands of $$ with paypal may be one of the paypal victim just thought its revenge time. 

Paypal would be great if they just sorted their flaws out, but they don't seem willing to. Hopefully they will be forced to chnage their ways by users in the future.

Paypal is very risky. I wouldn't store big amount or receive thru paypal. You can be hack, your seller can chargeback or paypal limited you anytime without proper cause.

Well a lot of that also applies to Bitcoin. PP has it's advantages too. If you do get hacked there's a good chance you'll get your money back, not so much with BTC.

Yeah,the transactions are reversible,but not gift payments,which may also be a bad thing because I've heard of someone on these forums getting scammed like that.

Are you sure about the gift payment option? I'm sure people have been scammed on here even using that. I'm sure you can still chargeback on your creditcard too.
