how do i set up my avatar? on the profile menu, it says "Changing avatars is currently not possible." ?

you can't use avatars since the forums have been hacked this option has been disabled

Your probably going to have to wait for the new forum to be released as the avatar feature should return then. Although you might have to wait like a year given the current timeframe...
