how safe are the crypto-cards from here? they are bip-38

they are bip-38 cold storage wallets but made through a 3rd party ( you generate your encrypted private key though)

thoughts?

or is it still better to just print it out yourself?

Why pay for a company to make you a fancy one? Always better to print/write one down yourself... not to mention it's free.
