I have invested into the Tezos ICO about one year ago and now I received an email regarding KYC. Is it legit or scam?

I do not really like the fact that they did not inform about KYC process before investing. Many of my friends in crypto space are extremely pissed about this situation.

You invested in an ICO for over a year and you didn't hear anything from the team for over a year, only that is Red flag on it's own. Now, you received email talking about KYC, that's a very serious matter, if it's scam, they may want to receive investors Identity and sell out. This really requires thorough carefulness. #justmyopinion

Sorry to hear that, man. If you're still struggling with this KYC, join the chat  to stand up against Tezos KYC! The great thing about Tezos protocol is that we can upgrade it and cancel the KYC check.  https://t.me/XTZstopKYC

Current if you trust the project you can give kyc and your documents so that they can not take credit in your name as many here write. And when the phone number is also yes, they can call even at night, which leads to anxiety and can even hack your stock exchanges after that. When the project at the beginning does not write anything about kyc and then sharply lets know that it necessarily smells of fraud. I also do not like giving and coming this all.

All the creators of ICO projects say they can make changes to the rules without prior notice.

This is illegal, but the Cryptocurrency itself is illegal. You either accept the rules of the game or leave the market crypto

If you have invested already then you may not have much of an opinion except you wanna lose your investment!

But then again, losing your investment could be a small price to pay if your KYC documents eventually end up in the wrong hands...

I'd advise you don't take a personal decision... All investors should speak with one voice on the social media channels...

Of course this is not a pleasant procedure, because you will have to verify, but there are other ways. But in general, developers have the right to this and are likely to use their right to receive data from investors.

I would rather be looking for the official representative of the company and ask that question to that instead of asking out here on foreign being on your place. Because so often hackers are going around those groups and trying to scam people.
