Take a look at the value of some land pieces already near the skyscraper in the middle of the map
Find a more remote piece - Unless you got the Big Bucks...... which most of us don't
Eventually your land will be populated and developed
You can develop your land plot in many ways
All the while the game progresses and you progress your plot, your land value goes up
Personally, I say get in now, which is still early.
