Question: Poll:  Future of gox? (Many possible options)
Gox CEO buys up enough coins, allows withdrawls and prices skyrocket causing a slow but steady return to the top - 12 (13.3%)
Gox gets new influx of investors thanks to <100-200 goxcoins and everything is restored - 8 (8.9%)
Gox gets acquired by some other entity - 14 (15.6%)
Gox gets a bailout (from btc creator, other exchanges or from you and me Sad ) - 5 (5.6%)
Gox burns slowly (offers limited withdrawls but its not enough to stop the overwhelming demands for fiat/btc back) but ends up dying - 16 (17.8%)
There are no real coins (only gox coins) and it was a ponzi (so it crashes) - 15 (16.7%)
"Gox burns slowly" - don't think so. It will be like an explosion, with alot of blood and tears. - 7 (7.8%)
I think their efforts will fail and MtGOX will be either forced to close shop or atleast become a minor exchange. Maybe they will start a new exchange under a different name to get rid of this bad reputation. - 4 (4.4%)
much ado about nothing. withdrawals resume. business as usual. - 2 (2.2%)
Yeah lol... All of the options are bizarre but would be awesome... in a way - 1 (1.1%)
wish that instead of just speculating on this matter, that we could all take a proactive role in it. For example, I VOTE for mtgox to just cease trading, return all funds to customers, and shut down and then we can focus all of our energies into building - 6 (6.7%)

MtGOX has hurt their reputation in a very bad way.
I think their efforts will fail and MtGOX will be either forced to close shop or atleast become a minor exchange.
Maybe they will start a new exchange under a different name to get rid of this bad reputation.

I wish that instead of just speculating on this matter, that we could all take a proactive role in it. For example, I VOTE for mtgox to just cease trading, return all funds to customers, and shut down and then we can focus all of our energies into building newer solvent and trustworthy exchange systems.

There is no future for gox. The only way is to let the brand die
