Is the forum lagging today?

Feels like its taking extra longer to load pages. If this isnt the case, a moderator may trash this thread.

It's loading okay for me. Check if you have the same problem in any other website, and you could also try a speed test.

It's been fine for me but maybe the forum is under a bit more traffic than usual with bitcoin going over £10k and the Paypal announcement.

I am also feeling like this because today its taking more time then last few days and most chances its happening just because of these two factors one paypal announcement and second bull run of bitcoin.

Haven't noticed anything unusual today. Forum loads for me as fast as it should. Also, I don't see many users reporting issue.
P.S. I lived under the rock today and somehow missed news about PayPal. Damn, I didn't believed that such day will come...

the problem is probably might be what hilariousandco mentioned. I also experience the lagging from time to time this past few days. I already did what longlivecapitalism suggested and it seems everything is fine on other websites.

there were some rumors going around a few months ago but I was still surprised when it was confirmed that it was true a few days ago. I guess nobody really expected it or was not expecting it to happen this year.

Speed has been normal for me.

Do you by any chance use VPN particularly using an IP address from Romania?
Whenever I would use Romania as my location the loading speed would be super slow but other locations would be fine. Not sure why.

It's fine in my side it might be because of your internet, try to use speedtest to check the ping or try to ping the forum through command.

If your ping is fine in speedtest try to change your DNS with Cloudflare DNS it might help speed up browsing.

Right now I haven't seen any problem with the forum.
I think might some case traffic because of several users' actions and making a post or thread on any board also one of the impacts is the thread content. Mostly if there is a lot of media in a thread link image or links this might it took a long time of loading.

Speed is back to normal for me so my guess is this is what occurred. Many thanks for the replies and I will be now locking this thread.
