In this news does not have the explanation of how they would be using Blockchain in this service. Would the news be recorded in a blockchain? I'm not sure what the need for something like that is. I also think that it would transform this activity into something very expensive, time-consuming and inefficient.
Blockchain should not be included in any project just because it is the buzzword. Especially if you want to use a decentralized blockchain.

This is a complicated question. How can fake news be eliminated? Many times news is advertising or political, and I don't think this is a good project. At least only in some countries.

This is the main issue now, everyone want blockchain to reflect in their core technology even if there is a better and simple technology that can solve these problem. I think I would give them benefit of doubt and see our they go about tackling fake news because this is a big issue in the world now |

Hi, OP here. Our system is designed so that you don't have to trust us, or our writers. To fulfil our primary objective of converting news articles into data we uses multiple verification layers, handled by random people across the network, who each conduct tasks to check the work of others. This ensures that the data that is extracted form news articles matches the source reporting, and is also free of bias. Yes, I agree. I think people are starting to use various terms like blockchain, decentralized etc. just because they sound good and attract readers. I didn't find any info to how they are going to use the blockchain, I'm curios if OP can shed some light on this. |

Yeah this is just one Option for a real use case of the blockchain, the biggest i have heared is that Walmart is planning autonmous robots for their ware house backed at the blockchain

That's interesting to know, I like reading news of different firms adopting blockchain technology and crypto currency and I believe in the future, more firm will come out to adopt it and soon cryptos will go main stream

How many users, that review an article, are required to put it on the blockchain and confirm that it is not fake news? |

The blockchain solves the fake news. I don't think it is a hot spot. We must know that the media and politicians are a group. They usually publish political opinions that mislead the public. This is the worst. The blockchain should first address the issue of corruption. The media is only a political weapon.
