On 2/12/14, it seems that many coin withdrawals from CampBX went missing.  They never showed up on the blockchain while being deducted from accounts.  Their support has offered nothing in terms of assurances or explanations.  What they've said is this:

Quote
Your bitcoin transfer is taking long time to get confirmed from bitcoin network due to D-DOS attack.

Quote
We have broadcast the transaction instantly but it has not confirmed on the Bitcoin network due to ongoing D-DoS attack.

A few related postings:

https://www.facebook.com/CampBX/posts/729988590346928

Example address, with nothing showing up despite a deduction listed in the CampBX transaction history with this address as the destination:

https://blockchain.info/address/1MQY2pVFnZsmBjm4i5mhNDKvpSeGJxraB7

Just wondering if what they're saying is even remotely reasonable, or if there's something I should be doing to investigate this on my own?  Could use some help here, as could, it seems, a lot of others.  It's been nearly five days and as far as I've seen, things show up basically instantly so I don't see how what they're saying could be true.  A different withdrawal made an hour later went through instantly and confirmed in half an hour or so.  Cheers.

I'm in the same position as you. I tried to withdraw BTC3.5 to Bitstamp on 2/10/14, and the same exact thing happened. Been going back and forth with customer support and got the same responses. I did press their service rep a bit more in live chat, and he basically said that many people were having this problem, and that it was going to take longer than their usual bitcoin recovery time of 10 days.

What I found to be strange was the fact that despite the transaction id CampBX gave while withdrawing was not found, Bitstamp knew coins had been sent to my depositing address. My account at Bitstamp showed a pending deposit awaiting confirmation despite the transaction never actually showing up in the blockchain. I'm assuming it had to do with malleability issues. Perhaps somebody who knows bitcoin's inner workings a bit better could explain exactly what I saw happen.

I don't think CampBX is blatantly stealing, I have the feeling they are just making sure they can account for everything before re-crediting people's accounts.

Anybody else have a similar experience recently at CampBX? Is Keyur still active here?

Yeah. Exchanges are being very cautious about "missing transactions" for obvious reasons.

A friend of mine tried to withdraw ~6.5 BTC from his CampBX account 17 days ago. CampBX apparently never broadcast the transaction to the bitcoin network, since blockchain.info doesn't see even an unconfirmed transaction. He submitted a support ticket the next day, and it has now been 16 days with no response.

They finally broadcast the withdrawal transaction, only 18 days late.

Have bitcoin withdrawals from CampBX been processing quickly (i.e. in minutes) recently or is this an ongoing problem with CampBX?

TBH I haven't withdrawn in about a week. But I have withdrawn usually more than once a week for the past 6 months or so and never had an issue with them, its always been quick BTC withdraws.

Sorry to hear your issue.

Then it does seem that most or all of the failed bitcoin withdrawals occurred around Feb 10-12. There are at least 7 people complaining about this on CampBX's facebook page, and CampBX acknowledged at least ~20.

I just did a small deposit and withdraw as a test, and everything went quickly as it should.
