Are they going to implant this chip to a volunteer?

I'm thinking on how they are going to test this chip, for sure they are going to try it out from someone. And I agree with the sentiment of badecker that not every information that we can find on the web are facts. There are false information that we really can't deny.
Perhaps they will do so in the future.
Everything is possible ... but imagine the person who will be a volunteer.
He controlled the owners of the experiment.
Or died or there were other mistakes.
It is a great risk
Risk is there for real. That what's boggling my mind on how is this going to implement.

There will be some test requirement and with the usual tests that they conduct, they are using animals as test subjects. If you have that fact and information on how they are going to test this, that's what I wanted to know. But if they will use this with a living human subject, I don't know what to say with this kind of experiment.  Undecided
Certainly they use animals to experiment at first.
But this is dangerous for humans no matter how good the results are, because evolution has become dangerous in such areas as cloning.

Why the search engines have to be Google or Wiki if they can make a more reliable and sophisticated search engine. This concept kinda reminds me of the anime SAO.

If it is anything like SAO, I'm out. Don't wanna lose two years of my life to a stupid game.

Your idea is great they can possibly create a search engine that has come to mind.
It is more reliable. And his information is better.

But I want to be in SAO. I mean I want to experience futuristic games so I hope technology will advance before the day I die. That is why enjoy playing all sorts of online games. It makes me feel so good and I feel like I am a protagonist of something. Of course, I know there are a lot risks in what I am saying but it's the kind of gamble I want to take. Maybe this chip is the one step we need but who knows what other sci-fi ideas can brought to reality with the technology we are building right now.

This is beautiful, but you can not determine the time of your death. Also, when you use the slide,
life may become eternal. No one knows about it.

Science fiction  turns into reality.
Northwestern University experts are currently working on a brain chip connected to the Internet.
Which makes people think of information is immediately answered by Google or Wikipedia, for example
If it happens and works, it is. Will make humanity at another level of intelligence
what do you think Huh
It is very likely, since the human body is similar to a machine, I think that technological integrations can be great advances, not only in the brain, but also some parts like arms and legs with much more strength than the natural ones. The time will come when the brain will be integrated into a totally artificial body to guarantee the survival of the human being.

I think the bad will outweigh the good. I mean it would be a great achievement but why would I even want something to plug in my brain. What happens if something goes wrong.

Why do you have any other suggestions.
I think he can check the reliability of the information.
And choose what is right.

Maybe it's like movies.
Your mind is stuck in the search engine.
Or even may cause pain or death .
It's hard to try it.

Whether you take it as reliable or not,  a lot of scifi things that seemed impossible years back actually camr true already. And this by far isn't the end of it since the internet has taken us to a highway towards technological advancement.  Unless we destroy ourselves by being stupid with the technology and knowledge we have, we may be able to achieve scifi level tech in the future.
