Is there a way to sort threads so that the most recently posted are at the top?

Go to "Look and Layout Preferences" and check "Show most recent posts at the top."

Hope that helps.

Under construction.

Sorry I'm resurrecting this old thread, I haven't been here in a while. I've tried the layout options, but I still don't understand how to sort posts so that the most recent ORIGINAL post is at the top. For example, if I check the altcoin announcements, how can I see which announcements are the most recent? It seems I can only sort them by replies. Like, if someone made an announcement five minutes ago and it is the latest one, how can I sort posts so that this announcement is at the top of the page?
