I just talked to my friend at Australia a while ago and tell this news and they are not aware of Cointree and no such thing as crypto options yet to their payment gateway in paying bills. As far as the article is concerned, Gobbill will be the gateway. Maybe payment gateways are now updating their options to include crypto payments.
Yeah, I saw a cointree's tweet that for now people can pay the bills via their website (just like before) and that the new payment platform is not there yet. As I can see, cointree allowed to pay the bills in Australia before, but Gobbill is a software which allows to automatize payments. As seen from the demo on cointree, you have to insert the data each time for each bill, I guess, while Gobbill can make the payments regular and processed by AI. It's hard to find info on how many people used which services, but I guess this partnership will broaden the audience anyway, so it must be a good thing.

Now this is what I'm talking about. With such great and superb news coming on board, usability of Bitcoin expands more and sooner than later, Bitcoin will be the main deal in our global world. I just can't wait for Bitcoin to go mainstream.

This is a great news for Australians as they can now be able to pay their bills using crypto. I wish some companies in my country would do partnership with some company like Cointree did with Gobbil . If many other countries start doing this then it might be a huge step for cryptocurrency to go mainstream.
Cryptocurrencies are slowly growing and I believe it might not be too late until every country eventually starts accepting cryptocurrency as a legal currency.

Great! Bitcoin gets mass use and it seems to me that the more such news the faster the price will recover after the fall in December 2017.

This is a good news and it is really cool for the Australian to be able to pay their bills with crypto. I hope this will happen in my country but I doubt it will be soon.

Good to know about the payment system that help you pay everything by using Bitcoin. But real challenge is to get the eco system in which you earn, spend  and save in bitcoin. Looking forward to the days when companies will start paying the people in bitcoins and we will pay in BTC without doing any fiat conversion and eliminating fiat.

This is very good, this shows how advanced the development of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in the real needs of society, little by little some countries begin to accept it as they should because they are prepared with all the risks and responsibilities to better secure cryptocurrency from criminal or fraud like some cases yesterday, officials the police have arrested large crypto fraudsters, of course with this kind of recognition the public is increasingly convinced of a good future.

But we need more such service provider to make the world of cryptos more accessible to the common mass.
We also need more services that assist in paying for everyday goods and services bought offline easier and instantaneous, not just for paying bills, the slow transaction speed of crypto is what discourages them to use it in offline transactions after all. If services such as these multiplies in many nations, Bitcoin and crypto adoption rate will increase exponentially because it will have more real-world use cases.

Yes, I think they have thought about it, and from now on it may have prepared the needs of the community and corrected the problem now.

Do you think the acceptance of Bitcoin as a payment method would lead to centralizing it, and perhaps followed by the centralization of the crypto sphere as a whole?

Amazing news, but Australia doesn't have that weight like Europe or USA, and it is kinda bad because our lifes won't change. If those countries would start use crypto in daily life, then the whole world would replace fiat to cryptocurrencies.

Still good news, maybe one day i will visit Australia Smiley
