New miner needing question

Hello everyone, i bought some mining gear before researching haha.

my initial goal was to fold ( foldingathome.org ) with all the gear i got, but seeing it needs 2 thread per gpu... with the gear i bought i was limited to 2 gpu.. darn

so i bought a Colorful B250 with 8x pcie and 8x P106-90 6GB and octominer with 8pcie slot with 5x P106-90 6GB.


currently using  nicehash since its very easy for me since i know crap. i was reading on a website ( whattomine.com ) and my current config " should " be pushing over 15$ a day but getting only like 6-7$, on the site ETH is a lot higher than the nicehash eth, so i was wondering how to mine ETH directly with my setups ?

also i have 2x P104-100 that do not want to run in the same rig as mine p106-90 its either the p104 run and the p106 dont or vice versa.

So you have 13x of these P106-90 mining GPUs correct? I am assuming they hash at like 22mhs correct? Might be wrong here just a guess. So total hashrate is 286mh/s correct?

If you go to www.whattomine.com you should get $9 a day which is correct.

If you want to mine ETH directly then use a miner like PhoneixMiner or Claymore and use a pool like ethermine. You will need to have an ETH address to use the pool, so if you are using Coinbase just make an ETH address and use that address for the pool and you should be all set.

But the profitability will be similar, maybe 5% more profitable mining directly.

my 8x p106 rig is pushing 104mh/s under pheonix/ dagger and my 2nd with 5x p106 is pushing 63mh/s under nbminer / dagger, both rigs are using nicehash.

i also have 2 hp work station

Z800 2x 6 core xeon mining XMRrig - GTX 1060 @ 19.8mh/s under claymore / dagger

total profit currently on the nicehash dashboard is 7.50 USD per day

So you have 104+63=167mh/s on ETH correct? This yeilds about $5/day before any expenses such as power.

For your XMRRig with 46mh/s you should get maybe another $2-3 or so, so basically the $7-8 USD is correct.

What config did you put in WTM, maybe you made a typo somewhere?

oh crap... i feel dumb haha

i have p106-90 6GB cards, and from all the googling, looks like i have p106-100 because of the cooler, is there a possible way they got flashed to 90's for low wattage ?

if so, i would like to flash it back to 100's for the hash rate, because they are GTX 1060 equivalent hash is 20-22mh/s and im only getting 12-15mh/s ( gtx 1050ti hashrate )
