I've currently got my rig in a Zalman Z5 case. My mobo is a MSI 970a-G46 with two pci 16x and two pci 1x.

i've currently got 2x R9 270s in there and i've just bought an R9 290 but will need to use a riser.

i've found This Riser Card http://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-Express-Profile-Extension-Adapter/dp/B0039XPS5W/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top and wondered if anyone could verify it will work for mining?

there are a few comments down in the reviews with concerns about bandwidth but i'm unsure whether mining will have these issues?

i'd like to use this for the fact that i can mount the card to it, other wise i'll need to find a way of lifting my card up so i can mount it safely within the case.

i hope to upgrade to an open air case soon, but until i need a solution to add the new card.
