Japanese renewable energy provider, Looop, has announced an electricity plan aimed at reducing costs for bitcoin and other cryptocurrency miners. The plan charges a flat monthly fee for electricity usage of up to a certain level in the Tokyo Electric Power Company service area.

Low electricity costs always be the biggest challenge for the miners, if Japan renewable energy could cover huge mining farms which consume so much energy https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption. Electricity from solar, wind, biomass, hydroelectric, and geothermal power systems absolutely cheaper than using gas fuel. After japanese miners established their foothold into mining industry, we will see how is it going for them and hopefully have a good impact into bitcoin community.
