Hi there, just wanted to enter bitcoin but being not in USA (mx here) Im not able to get an easy way to "buy"... via virwox I was barely able to buy 0,13600000 BTC... lol :S (and I will not be able to buy until a month I think because "limits" Tongue).

Anyway... now I think for my case, it will be best to buy some hardware (or build a dedicated PC... I have a titan GF... does it go well?) still I want to buy dedicated hardware.

Also reading here, I see that it is 99.9999999999999999999% that extreme hash [the one with 2.5TH, 5TH, 7.5Th] (or some like that is a scam).

I also see that for example that http://cointerra.com/product/terraminer-iv-2ths-networked-asic-miner/ seems to ship until June (and because here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison say in GREEN shipping... I guess they are no scam??).

Anyway...

  • if I wanted to *Start* in this week and not more than 15 March 2013 start mining with > 500 GH (at less 400 GH)... if possible go up to 1 TH. What are my options right now? (and that are not scams).

And I see that there are http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/

  • should I trust the quantity of bitcoins per day that I will get?
  • What is Less power costs?
  • What is Hardware break even?
  • where I can get a reference to what those things are... because I don't know almost all Tongue

I can't buy https://www.bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140107162747992Ce5uBuxW06D6 because I don't have BTC Tongue...

**** So I need to buy with cash (visa or paypal :S).

By the way... another extra question with this hardware could I also do mining for other coins?

You need to do more reading before you jump right in.
For starters: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=498336.0

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

It seem that there are no ASIC providers that have a 99% good reputation and are not considered a "scam" because

* they give items after the original date (delay it even that they don't give you money for the lost time & late launch)
* they devices doesn't run like specs (and probably not inside the probable % fluctuation when running)

Anyway this seem to be the near alternatives (more than 1 month to get 1)

Buterfly... they seem to be "serious" but aparently major complain is that they give have some delays in shipping thus making a little pointless the money you originally prepaid for (profits are murdered by delay)

Hash fast seems to at less have opensourced (could't find the link to source code https://hashfast.com/golden-nonce-interface-protocol-released there and there are no updates on the "headers" Tongue) of the "driver" interface for communication

Cointerra it seem OK??? :S but Shipping until June 2014 (that is a lot of time Tongue maybe for that time difficulty factor will make the now "high" speed as a normal miner today)

TerraLabs?? seem somewhat OK??? :S

They also seem to have give something out? but price is to hight Tongue and say 2nd quarter ships :S?

this one as I read is probably a scam I mean, not only they will probably (and perhaps had delayed) the shipping dates... but maybe probably never will give the devices? (though probably was the best option of all that are going TH speed)

So after this I hope you people could give me some insight to which is less scam than the others, and will will ship more fast a working device?

I mean I will not be able to get millions out of this, but at less 2x the inversion on the device will be ok and in final case not loss more than 20%  in that case 0% loss will be OK Tongue.
