So I went to log into my Vircurex account today and not only did I have to reset my password, but all of my Bitcoin (and Dogecoin) was withdrawn (not by me) from my account about a week ago, with valid trxIDs and addresses. Did anyone else lose coins from Vircurex?

My btc's is still there fortunately.  Maybe your account was hacked. Try scanning your system with antivirus and malwarebytes. If you found a virus reformat your pc to be sure that your are safe.

No, I've been using them for more than a year now with no issues (well nothing like this, there are always small issues with every exchange).

Did you have 2 factor authentication enabled on your account?  You sure your computer or email hasn't been compromised?

Again really have to push 2FA on any account you use to manage bitcoin.  It means even if your computer or email is compromised they also have to get access to your phone which significantly cuts down the chance of getting hacked.

Didn't have 2FA enabled. Had about half a Bitcoin and 800 Doge so it wasn't a huge loss. Was just wondering if it happened to anyone else.

Guess I'll serve as an example of what not to go, I guess. Wink
