CoinMarketCap - incorrect data

Hello. Why is one of the largest info sites unable to update the right information?
- Circulating Supply
- Total Supply
- Market Cap
- Volume (24h)

... and other data.
* Price Excluded
** Volume Excluded
The price and volume are determined by the shifting exchanges. Very little exchange.

Dev is trying to contact the CMC for several weeks / months to fix their mistake on the site. Unsuccessfully.

I think that is one channel Coinmarketcap important information and relatively accurately. All information coin and exchanges are publicly listed. The system is updated often, people use this information channel

CoinMarketCap - incorrect data
You failed to mention what coin this incorrect data is related to. I think I've seen coins listed there with inaccurate supply numbers. In any case, they are generally known to be slow in their responses. I don't think there is anything you can do but send them an update request.

Coinmarketcap makes use of data been collected or gather through third party, so it is likely that there will be incorrect data due to human error and other error that might occur, so whenever error is spotted, they should contact them to fix the error.

You made a good point, human's are prone to errors and when such errors are noticed, they need to contact coin market cap to fix such an error and everything will be fine again.

It happens that the CMC site gives out not entirely correct data on the market. But in general, this site is a good source of information. Maybe there are more alternative sites?

Certainly there are more information pages. But CMC uses 90-95% of members. Yes, we reminded them of CMC. But it takes a very long time and it's still not fixed. You wanted an example:
Incorrect - Circulating Supply: 2.70 Billion HYDRO.
Correct   -  Circulating Supply: 6.71 Billion HYDRO.

CoinMarketCap is a good service and monitoring, but don't forget they are not robots, just people, and people tend to make mistakes so you don't need to put an end to them )
