first I'm showing on coinmarketcap.com that btc is currently 663 yet just paid 710 on coin.mx for it, does this seem correct?

also wondering where to find the best up to the minute charts and/or phone apps, thanks!

bitcoinwisdom.com would be good for charts
and the sites might be using different exchanges.
Prices vary slightly on each exchange

http://bitcoincharts.com has almost every chart.

Also the order might differ if you dont make it yourself.
Most exchanges allow some kind of "buy now" option. This might change your price quite a bit.
But there should be an "advanced" option so you can set the price yourself.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Thanks for using Coin.MX!

For future reference, as someone else mentioned, prices can differ between exchanges. Our prices are set by our members. If you place a "Market Order" you can purchase Bitcoin instantly at the best market price. You can also set a "Limit Order" which will allow you to specify the amount you want to pay, but you will have to wait until a sell order is placed that matches your buy order.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at any time at Coin.MX via live chat, phone, or email.

Happy Trading!
~Anna
