Hey. I am developing a new altcoin, but for some reason I am unable to connect to a node so the client won't sync. I am using amazon ec2 instance with an associated elastic ip as my node, but when I try to connect to it after downloading and connecting to the server my client still won't sync. Does anybody know how I can set up this node properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and maybe it will result in a donation Smiley
Thank you for reading this post Smiley

(Update:)
I am now able to sync the client if i check "Connect through SOCKS proxy:" in the settings section of the wallet... However, when I tried to connect with a different computer, the two wallets lived their own life both claiming to be synced while one wallet found 20 blocks and the other 4...

You need to set the "security model" for the instance to open up the required port.

Hmm, In the debug it just says:
Connection timeout
No valid UPnP IGDs found
upnp thread exit
