I think what happened with this fud made many people and many traders panic and made them sell their assets at very cheap prices so that those who spread bad news could buy coins at very cheap prices.
FUDs only affect those who pay attention to them and most of the FUD, is not something someone with a sane mind would even want to pay attention to in the first place as they are usually unrealistic.

The market has been trending since inception, we were around a thousand last year and we are trying to make a bottom at $6k and even if we go lower, one certain thing, is that with this market maturing daily, more people wanting to step in, the possibility of seeing the market get huge in the long run is still there most especially when we start seeing usage in real life. FUDs are only for the losers as far as I am concerned.

FUD is one thing we cannot rule out and that is because people tend to make decisions out of ignorance and they can easily be played to get emotional when the time comes and before you know it, they tend to panic pretty fast in the face of market turbulence instead of seeing an opportunity to take advantage of.

Bad news will always one way or the other, find its way into the mainstream media, and in cases like this and with market being manipulated to go in line with the bad news by creating FUD, it is normal to see those who are just so keen about the quick profit, bailing out pretty fast even at loss.
