Tune.fm

About Tune.fm

Tune.fm is the first streaming music platform on Hedera Hashgraph, powered by the JAM token which enables micropayments for every second of streaming between artists and fans.

When the music gets played, the artist gets paid
. The platform's JAM cryptocurrency token enables micropayments for every second of streaming to help artists earn a living wage from their music. The JAM token is powered by the groundbreaking speed and security of Hedera Hashgraph, the world's most advanced distributed ledger technology.

"I see cryptocurrency and streaming paired together as the wave of the future" – said Mathew Knowles, owner of MWE Corp.

Tune.fm has put together an incredible platform with unique user experience and Music World Entertainment Corp is excited to share its content on the tune.fm platform.

Headquartered in Philadelphia, the company was founded by brothers and classically-trained violinists, Andrew Antar and Brian Antar who grew the independent marketplace organically to thousands of artists from around the world, before launching tune.fm with the JAM token.

JAM tokens are used to pay for every second of streaming by directly connecting them with their fans. Users can sign up and receive 100 JAM free to listen and discover thousands of artists from anywhere in the world.

As listeners stream music, JAM token payments are made into the artists' wallet for every second of streaming. In addition, artists will soon be able to promote their music with JAM by paying out JAM to 1st time listeners of their songs, creating a pool of promoted music which fans can get paid in JAM just for streaming.
In the future, JAM will be the denomination for many products and services within the music marketplace on Tune.fm, including affiliate referrals, gamification, reviews, merchandise, tickets, and VIP experiences. Tune.fm is creating a crypto jukebox that is growing into a global music ecosystem. With artists in control of their rights and able to earn instantly as their music is streamed, tune.fm is turning the tables on the music business.

Lately we’ve got our hands on the statistics that have been published on how much artists get from streaming their music in 2019. To be honest, the numbers were shockingly small. Look at them yourselves:

As you can see, main rivals in the game (such as Apple Music, GPM, and Spotify) pay less than one cent per play and I’m not even looking at Youtube Music, because it’s just degrading for any artist to even mention that kind of money. Although, we all remember that historically Youtube was never seen to be kind and generous to its content-creators, so it’s shouldn’t come as a surprise.

So, our main advice, obviously, would be not to count on these services as a means of earning, considering them only a way to a bigger audience. There is no money in these things, after all. Is that so? Well… I could help you with that one.
Let me introduce you to Tune.fm, a platform whereby music artists can stream their work and can get direct rewards when people listen to their music. It sells itself under the line “the global music economy for artists and fans”.

Musicians will get their rewards for their work via Jam Tokens. Token itself works under the simple line of “when the music gets played, the artist gets paid”. Furthermore, those who curate music using the tune.fm service can also expect rewards via Jam Tokens too. They’ll get credit if all goes to plan when they review albums as well.
We invite you to give Tune.fm a try, especially since the project is now at the IEO stage and needs your support. We will also be happy to answer all your questions in our Telegram group.
