Hello,
I am Smart Contracts Auditor and I have a query regarding the legal framework in Malta. I currently have a project which is licenses in Malta and I will be doing a Smart Contract Audit for them.

But since, my firm in neither licenses in Malta nor approved by MDIA, I am now unsure if I can provide the services.

If anyone has knowledge about this, Kindly give me clarity

I think you should do a google search. I don't know if you'd find anything useful here, but you can check this websites. https://www.companyincorporationmalta.com or http://www.miamalta.org/Page.aspx?pageid=83 . I wish I could help you more.

Audit regulations tend to vary from country to coutry and the regulation does not often covers the part where the crypto is related. You can however search it up on google. Google is a good source of datas like that and the data will be authentic.

Will you do the work remotely or? Because if it's a remote job, the laws concerned are the ones from your country and not the country origin of the company. Doing audits you don't need a special license for the country you operate on. In this case Malta. You would only need a licence at some point if you deal with people's money.

With what I understand regarding your inquiry for regulations in MALTA it is in your best interest to do a little digging on your own. As you can't be sure of the accuracy of information regarding regulations from here when there are several platforms that do offer in-depth information related to regulations. Hopefully you'll find what you're looking for.
