Recent bug & Bitcoin price

The recent bug[1] may be one of the most severe bugs[2] that have occurred to bitcoin for years, but there is no interaction in the news or an impact on the price.
I am surprised by the recent rise but do expect to have any effect in the future?
Maybe it's back when the price starts to fall?
