I am working on my first alt-coin and have an implementation question that I have not been able to find an answer to.  Please excuse me if this has been resolved in a previous post.  I am new to developing alt-coins and would truly appreciate your help.

I am trying to edit the LTC code (yes another Scrypt clone) to have the Qt/daemon allow a small percentage of all block rewards and transactions fees to be sent to a multisig address that the developers control.  You might ask why would a miner agree to give up a percentage of their incentive.  The only good reasons I can think of are for charity or a reasonable social tax.

I am assuming that I can create an address and inject it into the clients after the genesis block has been mined. Does anybody have a good starting place or feel bored and would like to point me in the right direction of the source code for editing in a feature like this.

Thanks!

Thank you FreeTrade.  Memorycoin found a way to reward 5% of new blocks to grants.  Which still may not answer how to partition a percentage of all transaction fees as I do not plan to create an inflationary coin.  I am hoping the solution is similar.  I will be studying your source code!

I am looking to do the same thing as a charity coin if anyone is interesting in helping me or becoming an owner of a multisig address (to prevent the fear of one person dumping or stealing the funds.  I will also be registering my real identity as a charitable organization).  The grants in this case will be held for charitable organizations and priority given to charities involving cryptocurrencies like Seans's Outpost. Community decides where the profits go much like Socialcoin.  Only this will not be limited to pre-mined amounts.
