new board - Altcoin technical support. what do you think?

 I see some people asking about technical support for altcoins in this forum.

I have no doubt this forum is the best place to ask for technical support.

As altcoin board is 99% spam, and bitcoin technical support board is one of the best boards (with very few spam) , an altcoin technical support board could be a good ideia.

It could be almost spam free, and would bring good and legit users to the forum.

I have to disagree with you (because of the following line):

I don't think there's a need for those, simply because of the fact that users can have such discussions on each of the respective dedicated altcoin threads.

There will be no doubt that that altcoin technical board also will turns into full of spams soon after it was created because most of the people posting in the altcoin boards were spammers so they will just one line posts everywhere irrespective of what board so it will be more spam so better stick with serious discussion as SRF10 said.

Nope (I meant those sections are "spam free" and since you were trying to push for a new board with that "very reason" [that's why I highlighted that part], instead of focusing if it's actually needed to have such board).

It can be fixed with certain altcoins' own thread, and does not need any dedicated board just to fix such issues regarding with their client/software whatsoever. The whole altcoin board is already a mess with bounty hunters and one-liners and we don't want to increase that statistic, don't we? Besides, I'm pretty sure altcoins have their own resources and such to make sure that everything goes smoothly with their every release, and don't need the help of this bitcoin forum for technicalities for their own creation.

I like the idea, I definitely think there should be more sections where signatures are not displayed so we can actually engage in some civilized discussions without being buried by the hordes of bounty spammers.
