Look for a buy offer on Localbitcoins[1], and simply transact with the person. If you don't like the prices listed there, you can create your own sell offer.

Just make sure to transact in a public well guarded location especially when transacting good amounts of bitcoin/money.

You can also use Abra[2]. If you want the exchange to be as simple as possible. Not sure if it supports your country, though.

Aside from what mjglqw said you can also look if your country has a 3rd party local wallet provider (I don't know if Vietnam has one), this is an all-around type of wallet where you can not only store, send, and receive BTC but also use it to buy and withdraw BTC directly to your bank accounts.  They provide the convenience for you in instantly buying your BTC and paying it for cash directly to your bank account. But again I don't know if Vietnam has one as last time I check the Vietnamese government have similar views with the Indian government.

Look for a buy offer on Localbitcoins[1], and simply transact with the person. If you don't like the prices listed there, you can create your own sell offer.

Do this as an absolute last resort. You'll get a terrible price and as mjq said, it can be dangerous. When would you ever broadcast that you'll have a significant amount of money on you and an exact date, time, and location? Never. You can get killed easily over this stuff.

First (and ideally instead) you should find a bitcoin exchange that operates in Vietnam. Coinbase, Xapo, any of them...check their website and see if they serve your area. If so, you're all good. Create an account, link your bank account, transfer your bitcoin stash into this wallet and withdraw.

If you have more specific questions, come talk to us.

Good luck.

I looked up some local exchange in vietnam, out of all of them, https://bitcoinvn.io seems the most reputable! although it's a bit weird they keep posting unrelated stuff in facebook and twitter. Still plus point for showing their their teams' face all the time!

Obviously I haven't used this service and just did a look-up so I would still advice you to do some research yourself since I'm pretty sure there's lots of reviews written in your language. Please make sure you're okay with their terms like: the fees, account limits, identity veirifications etc..
