I personally think that every business which includes end user as customer then there is necessity of KYC for particular firm to maintain record of user for AML and fraud prevention. But KYC and AML policies taking whole concept of decentralization and security to centralization.

I have seen lots of post like this, about their opinion on KYC procedures. But for me KYC on ico is not a bad idea,
This is also for the security of the project against to all people have plan to do some malicious activities. If there's a kyc, people rethink if they continue those malicious activities they get caught because they send their identity.
So i couldn't see any negative or bad thing with this.

Main reasone of I am not fan of KYC is fake ICO. How can I trust them with my personal identy even they are fake themselves.
I got your point here mate,
But Actually, in the first place we didn't know if the project or ico is a scam or real right?
So, do you continue to finish the kyc if you know at first that is a scam?

Maybe other people doing this because they lack of information.

Lesson learned; before take an action, take some of your time to gather all important informations before doing and finishing the kyc of the project.
