A few years ago, information from the Bitcointalk forum was also leaked, including a good portion of user email addresses. Even though many are not connected to Ledger, these are the addresses of those who are interested in Bitcoin and crypto, and it is quite logical that the scammer sends Ledger phishing mail to them.
I don't know what the status is with that case and the data from there; I'm just citing it as an example.

I wouldn't compare what happened in the first half of 2015 (if I'm not mistaken), which involved emails, with a database that contained about three hundred thousand personal names, their addresses and phone numbers. If you look at who the active members are on the forum today, it's clear that they're mostly people who registered after that incident, so anything that was hacked back then is worth very little or practically nothing today.

People who bought LHW and people who were (or maybe still are) forum members are completely different targets.

If I remember correctly that hack resulted in leaking not only email address, but also phone numbers and even real names and addresses of some ledger customers.
Changing email address is much easier than changing everything else I mentioned, but I agree that fresh email address should be used.

If I remember correctly that hack resulted in leaking not only email address, but also phone numbers and even real names and addresses of some ledger customers.

I try to search when was the email numbers are exposed as we all know that Ledger has been hacked several times.

And you are correct, not just emails, but postal and phone numbers as well, this was a 2020 hacked. So 5 years still, the hackers might have been using the data of 1 million customers of Ledger,

What personal information was involved?
Contact and order details were involved. This is mostly the email address of our customers, approximately 1M addresses. Further to investigating the situation we have also been able to establish that, for a subset of 9500 customers were also exposed, such as first and last name, postal address, phone number or ordered products. That was the time I was still using one email address. Phew. It's going to be a problematic one because this email is important but just applying it in the future registrations etc.

This can be solved with email redirection services, there are several options available.
You can also use email providers that allow use of alias with multiple addresses, or just temp emails for something that is not important.

Yeah I remember people complained about receiving scam calls and messages, it's like tech support scam.
If something like this happened once than it will happen again, that is why I prefer purchasing stuff locally with case whenever I can.
There are  some interesting privacy shipping options but not for international deliveries.
