Sort of a good news. I hope others countries that lay ban on crypto usage or transaction will think twice and do the same as Plattsburgh.

If somebody is trying to protect the health of the citizens by banning bitcoin mining he must be insane and lack basic understanding of mining. How does your computer influence the health of your neighbor? How about 10 computers running at the same time? Maybe 100 will change something? It's not 100 microwave ovens or nuclear reactors it's 100 computers. A bitcoin miner works like a computer!

There's still a lot of misconceptions around bitcoin mining so maybe the one that said that doesn't understand if there is really bad effect to the health of their citizens. But we all know that it no effect at all. This is just one attack on bitcoin but I'm sure everyone who has a common sense will not believed that shit.

Lifting a ban is not enough to bring the miners back into the game, it is barely making money in the USA unless you mine one of the altcoins instead. Good news for future miners though

Last time we see an absolutely stupid and destructive green trend to blame everything that it spoils the environment. Like if mining requires much energy then producing this energy will make XX amount of harm to our nature.
It is very popular among US politicians when they are trying to get votes out of nothing.

Very true, the only way miners cab be attracted is if it'll be profitable for them to mine bitcoins, lifting the ban is just the first step, the price of the bitcoin is the other factor that can bring back the miners to mine again. And with this current bearish market and the cost of mining in the US, I doubt many will fancy their chances

Lifting of the bans weren't making a big change over the mining. This can be a good news for miners who have shut down their mining rigs. At present as the market isn't that progressive it isn't possible to make a big earning out of mining. Maybe in the coming days this news will help as market has begun to recover slowly.
