First of all, I believe, as many do, that
it absolutely makes no sense for someone
so into privacy (didnt give any personal details,
used TOR, encrypted his email address from
even the forum boards he was posting on) to
use his real name.

We already know that... and its the #1 reason
why Dorian is likely not Satoshi.

However, some people are countering that
with the argument of: "well, he didn't
expect Bitcoin to really take off."

My counter to that counter is that
simply publishing a white paper such
as he did would probably get you
on a government watch list and
Satoshi well knew this... REGARDLESS
of whether bitcoin would thrive.

I mean seriously...

A guy smart enough to invent bitcoin obviously
knows the importance of remaining anonymous.
I would have realized this and i'm probably
a mental midget compared to Satoshi.

Look, we don't know who is behind bitcoin...
could be NSA for all I know (although I doubt it)...
but even that is more likely than this
old Japanese guy (Dorian) being Satoshi.
