Hey guys, I was mining for a year now, my rigs are placed at a store room in my home. Now Im renovating my home and building a separate room for Mining devices. My mining rigs carry a monitor on its side where I see the stats and for config and others I had to connect a keyboard and mouse everytime. [One keyboard, Mouse and Monitor] Had to switch between rigs which is a pain. Now that Im getting things in one place, suggest me ideas where I can use one keyboard, mouse and monitor to use across devices, or 2 monitors with same keyboard and mouse. I have heard about KVM switches but doesnt know about the reliability. Using mouser app in 2 pcs, seems good but totally a waste when there is no internet. Suggest me something guys.

PS: Im thinking something like this - Rigs in the South side of the room and the master control in the North/East side where I do all the stuffs.

Just get a USB HDMI KVM switch.  I dont know how many rigs you have but 4 ports usually run 50 bucks.  Most people just tunnel in with monitoring software or teamviewer.

Just install teamviewer or liteserver/viewer and control the rigs remotely . This is the only reasonable way to use one mouse keyboard and monitor. Otherwise use hiveos or something like awesome miner so you dont need physical access at all

There's an issue. Teamviewer detected commercial usage and dont let me use it for more than 5 min

Use google Remote Desktop.  I use awesome miner makes it very easy.  I can control mining on all my machines from one machine.

Use RDP plus AwesomeMiner. Just keep a single monitor/KB/Mouse set for BIOS/Boot troubleshooting.

I also use Chrome Remote Desktop, Ultraviewer is quite good also, but I have a bit problem on Windows startup with Ultraviewer.

If RDP you mean are RDC (Windows default Remote Desktop), it is not good for mining rigs. Don't use it.

OP, what OS you are using?

Lol, I am surprised no has suggested synergy. You won't need a KVM switch. It's also Open Source I believe. Check em out here: https://symless.com/synergy

Exactly. TeamViewer or Windows Remote Control to control them remotely. And Synergy to control each station with your keyboard/mouse.
